We are working on a proposal with FDOT for Sunguide Support Lead in Deland, FL


           


Job Description:


The Department utilizes custom software, Sunguide, for the operation of its freeway and arterial management functions.  This position will troubleshoot the software and work with the software vendor to correct bugs.  The position will also look for potential enhancements to improve functionality.  Frequent, minimally daily, changes to configurations are required due ongoing construction coordination.  Modification must be made in real-time to avoid the Department’s exposure to finical loss. Additionally, the Department is in the process of implementing Express Lanes Software for control of I-4 Ultimate.  This position will troubleshoot the software and work with the software vendor to correct bugs.  The position will also look for potential enhancement to improve functionality and interoperability with Sunguide. Position requires reporting to the Deland District office during regular business hours. Traveling to the RTMC, field locations, and maintenance warehouses will also be required as needed.  Position requires travel to remote locations. SLERS background, CJIS, and FDOT security and policy modules will need to be completed prior to start of work.      


 


Duration: October 23, 2017 through October 22, 2018 with a one (1) year renewal period, starting October 23, 2018 and ending October 1, 2019.
