Java Developer (Top Secret Clearance)

TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced Developer with in depth Java knowledge for a position in Pensacola, Fl. This position requires the chosen candidate to have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
The National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS) is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that are used to defend the Federal Executive Branch's IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
1. 4 - 5 years of experience in software development
2. Solid foundation in object oriented programming, (Java, C++, C#, .NET, etc..)
3. Active Top Secret Clearance
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
-Programming with some experience performing test driven development and unit tests.
-Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, and software.
-Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software.
-Java, SQL, XML, and CSS with knowledge of both Windows and Linux.
-Unified Modeling Language (UML) to include, but not limited to, class diagrams, object diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams.
-Programming applications using Java Servlets or other technologies utilizing client-server architectures which may run in the browser.
-Implement complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance in a virtualized environment.
-Develop high-quality applications using start of the art methods and tools such as design patterns, version control, issue tracking, and continuous integration/delivery.
-Develop unit tests as part of a test-driven development methodology.
-Monitor continuous integration and delivery stack for failures and quickly resolve application issues through debugging or other methods ensuring high-quality programs and applications.
-Design database schemas as necessary for supporting new and existing projects.
-Develop documentation meeting prescribed guidelines (e.g. User Guide, Deployment Guide).
